Satisfying curvy Amazonite compressed with bronze, creating a beautiful flowing gold coloured thread through the stone which charmingly drops from silver wire making a truly beautiful handmade silver pendant.
The Amazonite stone was originally found in Brazil and is named after the Amazon river, even though it was not first found near the river. Amazonite is a semi opaque blue-green variety of microcline, a form of alkali feldspar and is often referred to as Blue Moonstone.
Pendant is 32mm from top of clasp to bottom of stone, which is 12mm long and 9mm at widest point. Silver top casing with wire is 11mm long and 8mm wide at the bottom.
Due to each piece being handmade, the stone may vary slightly from that in the image.
Guillermo originates from Spain and since childhood has been interested in design and nature. In Taxco he became interested in metalwork and studied for four years with metalsmiths at the Artes Pasticas School in order to sharpen his craftsmanship.
