The bewitching pale blue and green tones of this oval piece of Larimar can't help but capture your attention. This semi-precious stone is beautifully framed in smooth, polished sterling silver with stylish cut out curves on either side of the stone. A spectacular and unusual bespoke silver ring.
Larimar is found only in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. It is also known as the Dolphin Stone and was only named in 1974 after a Dominican who rediscovered it took the first letters of his daughter's name, Larissa, and combined it with the Spanish word for sea, mar.
Larimar encased stone is 28mm long by 15mm at widest point. Silver band is 6mm wide at the back of the ring.
