Unusual and stunning pair of handmade earrings from Guillermo. Three layers of contrasting sterling silver leaves with different finishes beautifully compliment each other. The largest has a satin finish, the middle a patina finish, which is a green/blue effect produced by oxidation on the surface of the copper and the top leaf is gold plated.
Earring is 48mm long from top of hook to bottom of satin finished leaf. Gold leaf is 22mm long by 8mm at widest point. Turquoise patina leaf is 28mm long by 10mm at widest point and largest satin finished leaf is 33mm long by 11mm at widest point.
Guillermo originates from Spain and since childhood has been interested in design and nature. In Taxco he became interested in metalwork and studied for four years with metalsmiths at the Artes Pasticas School in order to sharpen his craftsmanship.
