Obsidian is volcanic glass that forms naturally and comes from the rapid cooling of lava. It is naturally black in colour with a very subtle gold shades and has a glassy texture.
Earring is 18mm long from the top of hook to bottom of stone. Obsidian is 8mm in length by 7mm at widest point.
Guillermo originates from Spain and since childhood has been interested in design and nature. In Taxco he became interested in metalwork and studied for four years with metalsmiths at the Artes Pasticas School in order to sharpen his craftsmanship.
